Andévalo countryside and Sierra Pelada
From the steparian habitats remaining in between orange crops in the andévalo countryside to the mine area and the mountain range of Sierra Pelada, we look for rare species such as great and little bustards, and vultures with both griffon and black vultures shading the rude rocky crests
The main colony of black vultures and steparian species. In the steppes around Villanueva de Los Castillejos, scaterred between the orange crops, we might surprise the little and great bustards! While we look for them, we could see thekla lark, great spotted cuckoo from late winter, whinchat and much more… as we keep driving up toward the mountain range, vultures might appears, both griffon vulture and black vulture with the main colony of Andalusia. Black stork use to nest close by, blue roch thrush perched on rocky cliffs, and any other surprise of the day…
