Migration less intense these last days but between 15 and 23 species of birds of preys per day!! Western wind causing migration on the eastern part of the Straight. Between 200 and 700 honeybuzzard per day and then, little by little, botted eagle, short-toed eagle, egyptian vulture, black stork, sparrowhawk, harriers… But we are waiting the most important groups of these species during the next 2 weeks!!!
Good time for swallows and martins! End of common swallow’s migration, maximum of sand martin’s migration and first migration groups of red-rumped swallows and hoouse martin. Those use to form dormitories on sandy or rocky ditches, sometimes building or trees.
