Sunflowers, cereal crops, olive tree fields, wood pasture where bull fighting graze (traditional landscape nice to see)… a different landscape where we will find different species, in Andévalo. Calandra lark, black-shouldered kite, hen harrier, marsh harrier, crane, whinshat… and the main colony of lesser kestrel in Andalusia sheltering in the fortress of Niebla.
Between wood pasture, sunflowers and cereal fields, white village and fortress. We drive on rural pists. The landscape change from cultivated fields to olive tree fields or cork tree wood pasture, and even some wetland (depending on the season and he rainfall). Amongst the larks and warblers we are likely to see, we can mention calandra lark, the biggest of the larks, thekla lark, and many more… Meadow pipit, northern wheatear, whinchat, sardinian warbler… We always keep an eye up to look for hen harrier, marsh harrier or even montagu’s harrier from spring to summer, sort-toed eagle, booted eagle, black-shouldered kite… we drive through Trigueros, a white village and get to Niebla where the fortress shelters the main colony of lesser kestrel in Andalusia.
